Good Food

Dumplings, Tomatomania, Virginia Country Ham, the Oyster Olympics

Dumplings are mouthful packages of perfection. Carl Chu tells us where to go to get them. It's time to plant tomatoes. Landscape specialist Scott Daigre fills us in on the nation's most popular garden plant. We'll taste some Virginia Country Ham from S Wallace Edwards and Sons. We'll take a trip to Seattle for the Oyster Olympics, a shucking and eating contest with expert Jon Rawley, and get some tips on wines to drink with these bivalves. Then it's on to Sicily with Anna Tasca Lanza to talk about the island's endangered fruits. Starting next week, remember to catch Good Food at its new time--Saturdays at 10:00am.
