Last week I wrote about Hint Mints’ special tins on sale this month to raise awareness for breast cancer research. Many other food companies are joining the fight:

Magnolia Bakery here in L.A. will be baking for the cure, as they offer their signature Pink Ribbon Cupcake ($3.25) in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For each cupcake sold, they will contribute $.50 cents to their “Power of the Cupcake” fund, which supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Panera Bread is selling a pink ribbon bagel in their Southern California cafes. Proceesd will benefit several breast cancer causes across the country.

Caribou Coffee is selling Amy’s Blend ($15), a coffee blend dedicated to a roastmaster who lost her fight with breast cancer. More items at Yum Sugar.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills has a special “Pink Tea” menu offered daily throughout the month of October. A five-course tea menu, along with a glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rosé and a signature Peninsula “Cap Cake” are included in the $55 price. Guests also will receive a $50 Tory Burch gift card for shopping at a Tory Burch boutique. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
