Free Ice Cream, Free Dinner

Mari Silva is at it again. She’s a KCRW volunteer and a college student who loves finding ways to eat for free. In the last few days she’s had a free dinner courtesy of El Pollo Loco and free ice cream as part of the Make a Wish Foundation’s World’s Largest Ice Cream Social.

Free dinner at the Santa Monica YMCA provided by El Pollo Loco in honor of Family Day hosted by Maria Shriver and the Mayor of Santa Monica in a campaign to have families spend more time together by making an effort to eat meals together as much as possible. Chicken, rice, beans, chips, salsa, tortillas and sodas.

Free Coldstone Ice Cream in honor of Kate as a part of the Make a Wish Foundation.
