Good Food Day LA – Get on the Bus Tomorrow for a Curated Tour of South LA

Overwhelmed by the choice of Good Food Day Activities? Here’s an idea, get the day curated for you. One of our city’s gem non-profits, Community Health Councils is organizing a bus tour. You’ll get an in-depth look at work being done in South LA. Start by helping in a local garden, then stop and wander a South LA Farmers Market. Get a chance to browse Mama’s Chicken & Market one of the convenience stores undergoing transformation as part of the Community Market Conversion Program, and go to a new restaurant in the area that is sourcing it’s food locally.
