This week on Good Food, Richard Carradine shares some stories of haunted restaurants in Los Angeles. Richard is the club president and co-founder of The Ghost Hunters of Urban Los Angeles. He says that La Golondrina on Olvera Street has two ghosts. The Edendale Grill has shadow people that spook customers by casting shadows on the walls.

Understandably, restaurants that have been around for a while tend to be haunted. Richard says that the old Chasen’s, which used to occupy the current Bristol Farms on Beverly, has some ghosts wandering the supermarket aisle. Philippe’s, which used to be a bordello, has ghosts. And so is Yamashiro, whose owners are buried on the patio of the restaurant. Musso & Frank’s has confused ghosts, which still haunt the original barroom, which has moved. The ghosts are going to the old location.

Other people have claimed to have experienced ghosts at the Culver Hotel. The White House Restaurant in Anaheim is said to be haunted by a woman and several children. Read some of the chilling tales on their website.

Richard and his club host “Spirits with Spirits” on the 13th of every month, where you can check out one of LA’s haunted locations and maybe experience a sighting. Do you believe in ghosts? Post your experience below.
