There seems to be a renewed interest in bake sales in Los Angeles. Or maybe people are realizing that they are not just for kids – that adults love home baked goods also. There are two bake sales coming up in L.A. This Sunday, June 13 it’s the No Cookie Left Behind Bake Sale at Scoops (712 N Heliotrope Dr.). Proceeds benefit Share Our Strength. Next weekend, Saturday, June 19, hit up the Eat My Blog Bake Sale benefiting the LA Regional Food Bank. Evan will be making something as will many other notables.

If you can’t make it there, there is a kid that sells cupcakes on the corner of McLaughlin and Charnock in my neighborhood.
