Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize-winning food writer for the Los Angeles Times. He will be among the many talented judges at the 6th annual Good Food Pie contest.

Inspired by the Fowler Museum at UCLA‘s collection (where the contest will take place), World Pie is one of the new categories at this year’s competition. In this segment, he weighs in on some of his favorite pies from all over the globe from hand pies from northern China to Bolivian salteñas.

The deadline to sign up for the competition is this Sunday September 28, 2014 at 11:55 PM. Sign up here.
