Osteria Francescana in Modena.

Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize winning food writer for the LA Times. He discusses his recent trip to Italy, where he dined at

Osteria Francescana in Modena and

Antica Trattoria Belletti in Montepastore.

In the LA Times he also writes about whipped lardo and thick steak at Il Cipresso in Loro Ciuffenna and his favorite porchetta truck on the side of the SS81 in San Arcangelo, near Perugia. He regales us with a trip to bollito expert Arnaldo Clinica Gastronomica in Rubiera and a perfect Tuscan meal at La Bottega a Rosano south of Florence.
