We’re frequently approached by TV shows who are casting for new contestants, chefs, extras, etc. This one is especially fun for me – Kitchen Nightmares. I’m not a big reality show TV fan – I don’t even watch American Idol – but I LOVE this show. Watching Gordon open the refrigerator drawer only to see raw chicken touching cooked chicken is so much fun – I’m horrified, but I can’t look away! Some of my TV friends complain that Gordon doesn’t look into the camera when he’s giving his summaries. I can forgive that for some weeping restaurant owner just trying to make a good lasagna. I suppose some people have the same embarrassed-yet-entertained reaction to The Bachelor or Wipeout. After all, a little (just a little) schadenfreude never hurt anyone.

So, if you know any restaurant who needs the Gordon Ramsey treatment, here are some details:

“Famed chef and Michelin Star winner Gordon Ramsay steps out of his own five- star establishments and into some of the country’s most unsanitary and unsuccessful restaurants to help them turn their businesses around or close their doors forever.”
