    Photos, Eating, masala, Italian folklore

What-s it like to arrive in a strange country only to peer at it through a lens for 18 hours a day? Traveling food photographer Jason Lowe is here to tell us. Join us as we speak with Richard Sterling, the award winning editor of Travelers Tales of Food, as he shares his wisdom for eating around the world. The Indian word masala means mixture. Our next guest, author Julie Sahni, explores spice mixtures made in her native India and how they fuse with other cuisines. Luisa del Giudice, professor of Italian folklore, explores a land where rivers run with wine and mountains are made of cheese.
