    Thi Tran of Starry Kitchen makes Zong during the holidays, or Glutinous Rice Wrapped in Bamboo Leaves.  It's a glutinous rice dumpling marinated and filled with all kinds of goodies.

    John Barricelli is a third generation baker, host of PBS’s “Everyday Baking from Everyday Food,” and owner of the SoNo Baking Company & Café in South Norwalk, Connecticut.  His latest book is The SoNo Baking Company Cookbook: The Best Sweet and Savory Recipes for Every Occasion.  He is making a red flannel hash as a side dish this time of year.
