Talk with Some Young Farmers Next Thursday

Next Thursday, the Santa Monica Farmers Market hosts New Agtivists. Part of the 2013 Library Panel Series, young farmers and food producers will speak about the future of local food. Hear from Matt Parker of Shiitake Happens, Nate Peitso of Maggie’s Farm, Nate Siemens of Fat Uncle Farms, Paul Osher of Bean & Thyme, and Rose Lawrence of Red Bread. We hear you’ll get fed, too.

The panel will be held at 7 p.m. in the MLK Jr. Auditorium of the Santa Monica Public Library.
