The expression “Très Brooklyn” has hit Paris. Food writer Alexander Lobrano notices a new wave of American chefs at the helm of Parisian restaurants and Kristin Frederick, owner of a successful burger centric food truck in Paris, weighs in on what it’s like to be an American chef serving burgers in Paris. Cookbook author and chef Jesse Griffiths falls in love with hunting and fishing and food writer Michael Ruhlman walks us through making your own dry cured salumi at home. Jonathan Gold proclaims that there is a new dumpling trend in the San Gabriel Valley. Plus, Good Food Producer Gillian Ferguson visits Thomas Starr King Middle School where Brian Miller and his 6th grade students prompted a ban on all styrofoam lunch trays in the Los Angeles Unified School District. At the market Laura Avery talks to Amelia Saltsman about a one-pot Vegan fall stew and farmer Al Courchesne discusses this year’s crop of Warren Pears.
