Picky eaters rejoice! Food writer and author Stephanie Lucianovic explains that there is hope for those with food phobias. She offers tips on how to get over the ick factor with certain foods. Edible gardener Lauri Kranz believes that introducing children to vegetables through gardening encourages them to try the foods that they have grown. For college-bound kids, Audrey Scagnelli has the found magazine just for you. Her online publication College + Cook includes dorm room recipes, including a “mug cake” that you can make in the microwave. Hear an excerpt from Which Way, LA? in which Stacy Malkan and Bob Goldberg debate the pros and cons of Proposition 37 which would require the labeling of all genetically modified foods in California.
