What Will Be the Next Food Trend?

Kale, cronuts and ramen burgers are all recent food trends that have swept restaurant menus and social media in recent years. But before a food trend captures the attention and appetites of the masses, is there a way to predict what will stick?

David Sax, author of The Tastemakers, thinks so, and this week on Good Food he talks to Evan Kleiman about why some trends succeed and others flop. He says the next food trend to watch is small Indian food restaurants (listen to his interview, above).
