Where to Eat This Weekend in Los Angeles: Mexicali Taco & Co

This week on Good Food, Jonathan Gold reviews Mexicali Taco & Co, a spot near Dodger stadium that focuses on Mexicali style tacos and vampiros. They import their flour tortillas from Mexicali (which is just south of the border in inland Baja). Jonathan recommends the carne asada tacos and the homemade chorizo tacos (with flour tortillas) but they are most popular for their vampiros – a quesadilla like concoction stuffed with melted cheese and your choice of meat filling.
