We want to hear from all of you tomato growers. What was your favorite variety that you planted this summer? And how do you utilize your summer bounty? Tell us about your tomato gardening and cooking stories. We’ll select our three favorites who will each win a pair of tickets to the dinner. Winners will be announced at 6pm today. Details on the dinner are below.

Guests will have the chance to celebrate five tomato varieties prepared five different ways, ending the night with dessert by acclaimed pastry chef, Duff Goldman. Jimmy Shaw of Loteria Grill and Evan Kleiman of KCRW’s “GoodFood, will host Kris Morningstar of Ray’s & Stark Bar, Giselle Wellman of Petrossian, Neal Fraser of BLD, Fritzi Dog, The Strand House, Neal Fraser & Co. at Vibiana, and Redbird at Vibiana, andDuff Goldmanof Charm City Cakes for a taste of tomatomania. Together they will create the ultimate prix-fixe family style dinner highlighting heirloom tomatoes.

The dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m on Thursday, August 8th. (Giveaway tickets exclude alcohol.)
