    Ditch the car and ride the gondola to Dodger Stadium? LA Metro board reviews a plan for this

    The idea of a gondola serving Dodger Stadium has been around for a few years. It would be a cable system with pods. Riders would be transported from Union Station up to Chavez Ravine in seven minutes.

    The idea of a gondola serving Dodger Stadium has been around for a few years. It would be a cable system with pods. Riders would be transported from Union Station up to Chavez Ravine in seven minutes.

    Would flying over traffic entice Dodger fans to forego driving a car to the ballpark? The LA Metro board recently took another look at the plan, and members will be moving forward with an environmental review starting this week.
