Governor Gavin Newsom says the state is shutting down indoor operations at restaurants, wineries, tasting rooms, movie theaters, museums and more in 19 counties, including LA County, to curb the spread of COVID-19. Restaurants must revert to a delivery and takeout model. Closing dining rooms is adding more economic pain to the dining and tourism industries.

The county already shut down bars last weekend, and closed beaches for the upcoming Fourth of July weekend.
