Share your experiences: driving and debt

L.A.'s love affair with cars has been long and passionate. Maybe that's why so many of us are willing to go into debt to drive them.

For an upcoming Greater LA story, we'll be looking at a recent boom in subprime auto lending. We'll meet the Southern California billionaire who's made a fortune on our willingness to borrow for a ride, and talk about auto debt: how much we have, how big our car payments are, and why we love and need our cars so much.

We want to hear from you. Have you ever stretched your budget to get a particular type of car, and why? What does your car say about you? We might share your story on air.
