Tonight is a great one. I am in NYC this week, so I thought a show that was NYC-based would be just the thing. I think you are very familiar with all the bands and artists we are laying on you tonight but there is something really cool happening in the second hour.

    Fanatics!

Tonight is a great one. I am in NYC this week, so I thought a show that was NYC-based would be just the thing. I think you are very familiar with all the bands and artists we are laying on you tonight but there is something really cool happening in the second hour. The mighty lads at the White Trash Soul blogspot took it upon themselves to find all the different versions of the Heartbreakers album LAMF and make a compilation of what they thought were the best mixes. The band apparently mixed the record several times and the mixes went all over, UK, France, Italy, etc. Some of them are really hard to track down. They made their choice, posted it online as FLAC downloads!

So tonight, we will start hour two with a couple of Dolls tracks and then get into LAMF, the WTS version! Also at the end of the show are two Heartbreakers singles to round it all out.

I had no idea that there were so many mixes. I was aware of the Lost '77 Mixes and the Revisited version but that was it. Also, the amount of writing and effort put into this thing is enormous. Hats off to some true Fanatics!

OK, I have to get to the venue and get the show happening. I will leave you in the capable hands of all these amazing New York City area bands and artists. I think you'll do just fine. Get ready to rock and STAY FANATIC!!!
