Fanatic. I hope you had a great week of listening.

I’d like to thank Fanatic Iosif for giving me the heads up on this: finally, after way too long (15 years), the one and only Dax Riggs has a record, 7 Songs For Spiders, slated for release on 01-24-25. The one song we can all hear, Deceiver, is a great return to form. Looking forward to this one. https://daxriggs.bandcamp.com/album/7-songs-for-spiders

This is a great 7” record.

    Snooper / Prison Affair split

    https://snooper7.bandcamp.com/album/split-w-prison-affair

A few different sleeve variants on this one. Any release by either band tends to sell out quickly, so if you’re inclined, you should get on it.

Fanatic, a tough bit of news. As much as I’d like to keep things buoyant in our weekly show notes, sometimes a little rain must fall. Inger Lorre the musician and longtime pal of mine passed away on October 16. She was a true artist, a genuine creative. I got the news yesterday. A few hours after I found this out, I got an email from the wife of Ollie Olsen, the great Australian musician, that he had passed away, also on October 16. Ollie had contacted me months ago, informing me about his condition. We’ve listened to a lot of his music from his bands No, Whirlywirld and Taipan Tiger Girls on our show.

Tonight, we have what you’ll hopefully find to be a great mix of new and old, a great soundtrack for the month of months. Have an excellent weekend and stay Fanatic.
