Alex Ridha, better known as Boys Noize, got his start at an early age in Hamburg, Germany. Influenced by his music obsessed older brother, Alex draws from House, Hip Hop, and Electro for his forward thinking brand of Techno. One of the hardest working DJs and Producers in dance music today, Alex criss-crosses the globe with a seemingly boundless enthusiasm for the music. His sound has a dark intensity that belies his pleasant demeanor in person. Alex sat down with KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley for our Electrospective conversation on his biggest influences and plans for Boys Noize moving forward. His latest album is Out Of The Black, and he recently marked Boys Noize Records 100th release with a double A Side featuring Justice and The Chemical Brothers remixing his own music. Electrospective is Produced by EMI Music in association with KCRW. Select "download" to podcast the Electrospective interview with Boys Noize.
