Highly regarded producer Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) moved from Amsterdam to Los Angeles almost 10 years ago to pursue new opportunities in film scoring with his background in electronic music. Having produced hit records and remixes, including his platinum selling Elvis Presley remix, Tom has made many gains in Hollywood, most notably working with Hans Zimmer. Tom sat down with KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley to talk about his background in dance music and how that helped him break into film.
