The respected original Chicago house DJ/producer (now based in Australia) James Curd is no stranger to the electronic scene. With his experience in gracing international decks at nightclubs with an energetic approach to his DJ performances along with an impressive lineup of festivals Park Life in Australia, Lollapalooza In Chicago, In The Park in Scotland and Electric Picnic in Ireland and more.

He’s released original music on respected labels classic, DFA, DFTD Defected, Dirtybird, Exploited, Ministry Of Sound/Astrix, Play It Down, Repopulate Mars, Sweat It Out, and Trax Records. Curd’s music has also been remixed by great artists such as Claude VonStroke, Camelphat, Sonny Fodera, Denney, Poolside to name a few.

There’s no slowing James Curd as he continues to consistently release ever-evolving music by pushing his sound to new lengths. We are thrilled to welcome James Curd to KCRW for an exclusive guest mix on Metropolis.
