The Grammy-nominated Nortec Collective have been unofficial global ambassadors of Mexico, and especially Tijuana for the past two decades. As a band, they bring together traditional Mexican, electronica and dance music. They’ve basically invented the genre when they mixed traditional Mexican norteño music with techno (hence the name Nortec) and changed the trajectory of modern Mexican music and Latin electronica to the masses.
