Hailing from Manchester, production duo Mark Richards and James Eliot are collectively known as Solardo. For the last couple of years, the duo have solidified their place as heavy hitters in the tech-house sphere.

This year alone, Solardo has proven to be one of the most highly demanded acts in the house music scene, and for good reason. They’ve released massive tracks, curated the sounds of their peers on their label Sola, and produced remixes for the likes of Santé and Nic Fanciulli.

The duo continues to work effortlessly, and captivate fans all over the world as they work the festival circuit, taking the stage everywhere from EDC Las Vegas, to Creamfields, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland and beyond.

After such a huge year it is even more clear that Solardo is on a strong path to pushing the tech-house music scene forward.

We are thrilled to welcome Solardo to KCRW for an exclusive guest mix on Metropolis.
