Detroit native GRiZ made his U.S. radio debut on KCRW last year and is now playing major music festivals across the country. Very few electronic music producers combine funk, hip hop and electronic music with such success – and even fewer play saxophone. He talks about the progression of his live shows, his take on sampling, brings us behind the scenes of his latest album Say It Loud, and shares a lively funk-filled mix, including his own unreleased remix of LA band Saint Motel.
