The Glitch Mob – the Los Angeles-based bass-trio comprising Justin Boreta, Ed Ma, and Joshua Mayer began their journey in 2010 as one of the first bass music acts to breakthrough the mainstream music market with the release of their EP Drink The Sea.

Together, their combined talents and aesthetics are collaged into a highly compelling whole. Glitch Mob have become one of the most beloved live electronic acts, and distinctive recording artists, working today. Along with the evolution of bass music, their sound has progressively gotten grittier and edgier.

As they continue their forward momentum into 2020, the trio recently debuted collaborations with 1788-L. The single “Momentary Lapse” is a heavy-hitting infectious tune that blends crawling bass with gritty electro-house. This bold sound is a testament to their forward-thinking reputation and the bass music industry as a whole, as we step into the next chapter of The Glitch Mob’s story.

We are thrilled to welcome The Glitch Mob to KCRW for an exclusive guest mix on Metropolis.
