    Hailing from South-East London, producer and DJ Will “Tourist” Phillips is known for his compelling take on electronic sounds and intricate production style. With a Grammy under his belt for co-writing Sam Smith's platinum, multi-award-winning "Stay With Me," Tourist commands the spotlight on his own as a self-taught artist.

    An affinity for technology and passion for the piano lead to a series of exploratory EPs and singles, finally breaking through with his album U in 2016. His music is laced with somber thematics and a unique grasp of his craft — deep in the feels, these tracks are designed to invoke your emotions. Just this month he’s released “Bunny”, the second single from his forthcoming album titled, Wild.

    We are thrilled to welcome Tourist to KCRW for an exclusive guest mix on Metropolis ahead of his DJ set at this year’s Splash House Festival in Palm Springs next weekend.
