It’s the first day of April and there’s nothing foolish about it. But that won’t stop us from celebrating with the latest from U.K. multi-instrumentalist and poet Alabaster Deplume and his single “Who Is A Fool”. And, of course, Aretha’s classic “April Fools.”
We also celebrate the beginning of National Poetry Month with Ben Harper’s “I’ll Rise,” inspired by Maya Angelou’s 1978 poem “Still I Rise,” and honor what would have been Marvin Gaye’s 83rd birthday tomorrow with the 1976 track “I Want You.”
We know you ain’t no fool, some come join us for New Music Friday and ease into the weekend together!
