Interpol returns to form with their 2014 release, El Pintor and on Morning Becomes Eclectic, the band played several new songs live for the first time.
After four years of writing and recording, Interpol released one of their best albums in 2014. El Pintor -- which is an anagram of the band’s name -- was met with critical acclaim and drew comparisons to the groups earlier works that was the bedrock for their signature indie sounds.
Earlier this year, the group played a live show for a select few fans at Los Angeles’ Mack Sennett studios which was part of a live webcast for NPR’s First Listen series. We’ll offer the full broadcast performance as a free download in this episode of the Morning Becomes Eclectic Podcast.
