Back in the days, Joe Frank blew our minds with his storytelling and masterful music beds. Around this time, Double Dee and Steinski did something similar, creating sonic collages with electro and James Brown breaks, soundbites Casablanca and much more. They called these sessions “The Lesson”. All mixed on an 8 track recorder and a tape deck. Let's take a listen.
