KCRW’s signature music program — defying format since 1977.

There are New Music Fridays… and then there are NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS. We’ve got some serious goods to explore together over the next few hours. IDLES’ new LP TANGK is out in full and we’re spinning multiple cuts. Also in the all killer, no filler new album department is serpentwithfeet’s GRIP — celebrating and fostering the spirit and magic of Black queer nightlife with the cut “Ellipsis (Feat. Orion Sun).” Plus, a sonic-space-adventure in single form from Ecuadorian-Swiss sibling duo Hermanos Gutiérrez. "Sonido Cósmico" is the title track to their forthcoming LP, due June 14 via Easy Eye Sound and we’re so pumped that we can all hear it together, right here and now.
