Any year that has a new album announcement from Khruangbin in its first quarter is going to be a good one. That’s just hard science. Dive in for the group’s trademark laidback-yet-skintight grooves on “A Love International” and get very psyched for their fourth LP (and first album in four years) A LA SALA due on April 5 via Dead Oceans. Plus, Hawthorne-based recent high school grads Thee Heart Tones give us the sweet soul cut “Forever & Ever,” we keep digging Kali Uchis’ ORQUÍDEAS, and we revisit a stone cold wedding cocktail hour classic from Koop.
