    Jan 20, 2023

Today we take a moment, make that several moments, to honor the signature harmonies of David Crosby. Through his decades of solo material, and more definitively through his early work with The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young) — few artists have had a more significant role in shaping the course of popular music. We’ll check in with Crosby during all points of his storied career (including a 1990s venture with Phil Collins), and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind as we process the news of his recent passing at the age of 81.

More straightforwardly happy sounds are on deck as well with new music Friday back in full force at last. We’re playing the deep cut hits from several long awaited, full length releases including Irish R&B x dance-pop maven Biig Pig’s debut mixtape; weirdo hip-hop hero Oddisee’s first LP in 5 years; and a brand new single from the king of AM-radio, soul throwback sounds Nick Waterhouse.

All this, AND your chance at FREE tickets to catch Sylvan Esso at the Greek in August?! You know what to do.
