We’ve got fresh selections, perfectly ripe for the summer that’ll make you roll down the window and turn up the volume. UK production/songwriting/DJ duo The Nextmen team up with vocalist Kiko Bun on “Big Time” for some reggae soul, and a 20-year old First Nations Australian artist named Budjerah floats you into the clouds on his latest single “Ready For the Sky.”

Speaking of young talent, 22 year old Filipino-British artist Beabodoobee has taken Gen-Z by storm with her flavor of bedroom pop, and we get the hype, particularly on “Sunny Day” from her recently released album “Beatopia.” We take it back to the great Tracy Chapman’s 1988 release “Fast Car,” in which we find melodic similarity to “Sunny Day,” and then jump forward to a 1995 release from the rapper Doug E. Fresh, who gives a direct vocal nod to “Fast Car” at the end of “Keep it Going.”

Plus Today’s Top Tune “I Love My Dog” inspires a whole pup-lectic set to bring a little extra joy to your Tuesday. Peep @mbeKCRW Twitter for a serotonin boost.
