    We observe Indigenous People’s Day with the first Native American artist to win an Oscar for songwriting, Buffy Sainte-Marie. Though her proclivity for spotlighting Indigenous issues led to many American radio stations blacklisting her in the past, we play her anthem "Native North American Child" loud and proud today.

    And you just know any day that begins with David Lynch reporting a breakfast of cherry pie and hot, fresh, damn fine coffee is bound to be a good one. Wade in the caffeinated waters to learn how this breakfast of champs connects to today’s song request.
