Revel in “Inertia” from subtle jazz master Samora Pinderhughes’ “Venus Smiles Not in the House of Tears.”
Oct 22, 2024

Amidst last Friday’s heavy-hitting new LPs like The Blessed Madonna’s Godspeed and LP Giobbi’sDotr, was more of a hidden gem — Samora Pinderhughes’ Venus Smiles Not in the House of Tears. Pinderhughes is a subtle master of jazz composition and a lyrical powerhouse as you’ll hear on the album track “Inertia,” played as part of this edition of MBE. Also on deck for ya when you press play is Gavin Turek, Eddie Chacon, and TOKiMONSTA (to name just a few).
