    How Catholic Church's triumphs and tribulations in Orange County.

    This fall marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Catholic Diocese of Orange. The spiritual home for OC's 1.2 million Catholics, the diocese is embarking on a $72 million fundraising campaign to transform the former Crystal Cathedral into a place of worship for the faithful that'll stand for decades. But while the future Christ Cathedral get renovated, Bishop Kevin Vann must still deal with the legacy of previous bishops who covered up for pedophile priests or settled lawsuits alleging abuse that ended up costing more than $100 million. Can Vann lead the Orange diocese toward more decades of success?
