The shootings took the lives of more than two dozen people in 13 hours. They once again started a nationwide conversation on gun violence and white supremacy, especially after the killer in El Paso appeared to post a racist and anti-immigrant manifesto online just hours before gunning down people at a Wal-Mart near the U.S.-Mexico border.
