There’s a proposal to build some 20,000 new affordable homes in a new town filled with shops and services. The LA County Planning Commission will consider the plan for Tejon Ranch on Wednesday.

The LA County Planning Commission will consider the plan for Tejon Ranch on Wednesday. It would be a private development near the grapevine -- just across from the Los Padres National Forest, which is currently home to mountain lions, black bears, elk and wildflowers.
