    Rusty Hicks was elected the new chair of the California Democratic Party. He's a Los Angeles labor leader and Navy veteran who will succeed Eric Bauman. Bauman resigned in November after he was accused of sexually harassing his staffers.

    Rusty Hicks was elected the new chair of the California Democratic Party. He's a Los Angeles labor leader and Navy veteran who will succeed Eric Bauman. Bauman resigned in November after he was accused of sexually harassing his staffers. Hicks’ election is a big win for the party establishment, which hopes he can unite the party ahead of 2020 elections.
