California sues Trump administration over foreign student visas
The Trump administration announced last week that online-only learning is not an option for international students. In response, several international college students in California are suing the Trump administration.

In response, several international college students in California are suing the Trump administration. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction against enforcing the new policy.
MIT and Harvard are also suing the administration. Nearly 100 members of Congress sent a letter to ICE calling this policy irrational and xenophobic.
Meanwhile, universities are scrambling to figure out how to safely reopen.
