    President Trump today declared a national emergency to get funding for his border wall, after signing a bipartisan bill to keep the government open for six months. The deal gave him far less money than he wanted for his wall.

    President Trump today declared a national emergency to get funding for his border wall, after signing a bipartisan bill to keep the government open for six months. The deal gave him far less money than he wanted for his wall. California Governor Gavin Newsom and State Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced hours later they’re suing the administration. Becerra said Trump would divert vital drug enforcement money that California needs to pay for his wall.
