    U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta was Miami’s top prosecutor more than a decade ago. That’s when he brokered a deal granting immunity to serial sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein was a Palm Beach hedge fund millionaire, who was accused of running a massive network of underage girls, and forcing them into sex acts multiple times a day. Facing a 53-count federal indictment, he could’ve gone to federal prison for life. But he got a huge break. The Miami Herald broke this story.
