There is a long history of con men preying on lonely women — wooing them and then taking all their money. The latest such tale is Showtime’s documentary series called “Love Fraud.”
These scorned women hire a bail bondswoman and hunt down the man who duped them, an ordinary looking middle aged guy named Richard Scott Smith. The filmmakers also get involved and hire a pair of private detectives.
