Last month, Denmark ordered the killing of 17 million minks there — over worries that the virus could mutate and spread back to humans. Scientists feared a mutation could cripple progress on COVID vaccines. This week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported a positive case found in a wild mink in Utah.
