Special Counsel Robert Mueller issued a sentencing memo for President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn Tuesday night. Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Now Mueller is recommending Flynn serve no prison time, thanks to “substantial assistance” he provided in several ongoing investigations.
