    California is now the epicenter of the nation’s coronavirus outbreak, passing New York with the most confirmed COVID-19 infections. The Golden State now has more than 400,000 cases, according to Johns Hopkins.

    Southern California is the state’s hotspot. Now Orange County has the second most cases in the state, passing Riverside County on Tuesday.

    KCRW talks about the county’s response with Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett. She represents the Fifth District, which includes Laguna Beach, San Clemente, and Mission Viejo.
